DIRECTOR NOTES

This film provided an important lesson to me. I was so excited to show my local friends my first movie and ran over to theirs immediately after finishing the edit only a couple of hours after the shot was taken. I was excited about the sharpness of the image, the use of distorted music and unusual colour design but within half a minute one of my friends left the room  while the other friend remained awkwardly offering encouragement but no enthusiasm. That friend was my future composer Iain Anderson. I desperately wanted to make something that would impress them so I determined to go out the next day after class to make something more ambitious set entirely outdoors.
